Towards the end of the year we often begin to analyze about the past year and reflect on what we have accomplish and what we haven’t accomplish. We also start to think about what we will do better the upcoming year. Many of us find setting goals and achieving them a difficult task that leads to disappointment.
I am a strong a believer that no one on this planet can fully function without setting goals. I always make sure when I’m getting to know a new guy that we discuss our personal short and long terms goals. It’s very important to me at the age of 24 to deal with a guy that ambitious with real goals.
List: Take the time out to write down all your goals.
Categorize: Divide your goals in a short or long term section.
Over View: Take a look at all your goals an evaluate whether your goals are attainable and/or realistic.
Measure: Figure out the time frame and the steps need to achieve each goal.
Prioritize: Re-list you goals in order of what can be accomplish first to what can be accomplish last.
